NIHR Participates in a Training Course on “The Design, Management and Provision of Training in the Field of Human Rights”

The Secretariat-General of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), represented by Mr. Mohamed Al-Najjar, Head of the Legal Affairs unit, and Mrs. Marwa Ali, Assistant Researcher at the Call and Complaints Centre, has participated in a training course on “Train of Trainers on the Design, Management and Provision of Training in the Field of Human Rights”, organised by the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions (ANNHRI), in cooperation with the United Nations Human Rights Training and Documentation Centre for South-West Asia and the Arab Region and the National Council for Human Rights in Algeria, which was held in Algeria, the capital.

The training course aimed at enabling participants to plan a training programme, in terms of analysing the general context, estimating training needs, designing courses, and organising training, the stage of its provision, and its training tools and methods, refining the skills of participants by providing the material and dealing with the target group, following-up on activities and impact evaluation, and exchanging expertise and best practices between participants and trainers, in order to enhance capacities in the field of preparing training and building and raising capacities of members of those national human rights institutions.
